DALLAS — Nicholas Remsky, Pittston, a government, law and national security major at Misericordia University recently participated in a program that enabled them to meet U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.
Remsky is participating in Misericordia University’s Study Away Program for the fall semester at American University in Washington, D.C. Remsky and other students in American University’s Semester in Washington, D.C. Program met with Justice Scalia.
The son of Ronald and Kimberly Remsky, Nicholas is spending the fall semester studying Justice and Law at American University while also gaining experience with government-related institutions by interning as research associates with the Federalist Society, an interest group for law and public policy. At the Federalist Society, the Pittston Area High School graduate researchs different areas of law and public policy for use by supervisors in various mediums.
