WEST PITTSTON — The Salvation Army of West Pittston held its annual Appreciation Breakfast at the Moose Lodge 1207 on Saturday, Feb. 27.

The breakfast is meant to recognizes individuals who have dedicated their time to volunteering throughout the year for the Salvation Army, especially for the Kettle Program during the Christmas holiday season.

The top three individuals and organizations who raised the most money during the 2015 Kettle Program were recognized at the event, which assisted 829 people and raised $41,967.25.
