SCRANTON — United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania (UNC) will host the fourth annual Seniors Got Talent at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15 at the Lackawanna College Theatre. The event, which has grown to include an audience of nearly 300, raises funds for the agency’s four active adult community centers in Lackawanna County.

Registration is currently open for individuals over the age of 55 who would like to audition for the show. Acts of all types, including singing, dancing, dramatic reading and comedy, are welcome to try out and can be up to four minutes long.

To obtain a registration form, contact the West Side Active Adult Community Center at 570-961-1592, ext 102. Forms must be returned to the center by April 22. There is a registration fee of $10 for acts of up to three people and $20 for acts of four or more. Those who register will be invited to audition at 6 p.m. April 29 or 9:30 a.m. April 30.

During the show, a panel of celebrity guest judges, including Frank Gervasi from The Poets and Evie Rafalko McNulty, will score the acts and award cash prizes of $500, $300, and $200. Tickets to the show are $10 in advance or $15 at the door and can be purchased online at uncnepa.org/events.
