WEST PITTSTON — The annual Memorial Day parade for West Pittston and Exeter will begin at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 30 at the corner of Wyoming Avenue and Linden Street, West Pittston.

The parade will proceed to the Wyoming Area Catholic parking lot for a short program. Guest speaker is Carmen Altavilla, former state police captain. Included in the parade and program is the Gino Paci Band, Ceol More Pipers, Wyoming Area band and numerous civic organizations. Program will include the National Anthem, sung by Faith Musinski, “God Bless America,” sung by Carmella Karcutskie and “Taps” by the Gino Paci Band.

All civic groups are invited to participate by calling Ron Gitkos, commander West Pittston American Legion, 1st Lt. Jeffrey DePrimo Post 542, at 570-654-2261.
