Holy Rosary School in Duryea celebrates patron saint with crowning ceremony

Holy Rosary School celebrated its patron saint, The Blessed Mother, by participating in liturgy and a crowning ceremony. The school’s tradition is to select two students’ names from a basket containing the names of the entire student body. In photo, from left, Max Schupp, crown bearer; Isabella DeQuevedo, crowner; and Reverend Joseph Verespy, liturgy celebrant.
