Committee members of St. John the Evangelist’s 17th Annual Bazaar recently met to begin preparations for this year’s bazaar, which will be held from Thursday, Aug. 4 through Saturday, Aug. 6 on the grounds of St. John the Evangelist Church, William Street, Pittston. Featured entertainment this year will include Sweet Pepper and the Long Hots, The Sperazza Band, and Flaxy Morgan as well as the Emerald Isle Step Dancers and Pat Ward the Clown. A variety of ethnic foods and baked goods will be available for purchase and booths, raffles, children’s games, bingo and the flea market will be held in the Seton Auditorium.
