Bingo event being held Aug. 7 in Old Forge to benefit Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma patient

OLD FORGE — A variety bingo event called “Stand Tall With Nick” will be held on Sunday, Aug. 7 at the Eagle McClure Fire Hall, 375 Milwaukee Ave.

Proceeds will go towards medical expenses for Nick Gosselin, who was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the first game begins at 1 p.m. Seating is limited to the first 375 people.

In addition to bingo there will be basket raffles, a 50/50 and food. Participants can win a weekend getaway, electronics, designer hand bags and more.

Tickets can be purchased at the Convenient Food Mart/Gray Ghost Beers on Main Street in Avoca, or by calling Sharlene at 570-237-5035.
