Sunny skies and warm conditions are in the forecast for the Wyoming Valley today and to start your week.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 72 degrees and fair conditions as of 8:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport.

Today will be sunny with a high near 84. Tonight is expected to be mostly clear with a low around 59.

It’s much of the same to begin the week with Monday expected to be sunny with a high near 85, and Monday night mostly clear with a low around 59.

Tuesday will also be mostly sunny with a high near 86. Tuesday night will be mostly clear, but there may rain showers after 2 a.m. The chance of precipitation is 40percent.

The low will only reach around 68.
