YATESVILLE — Pittston Area Senior High School will host a freshmen orientation from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25.

All ninth grade students, and newly enrolled transfer students in grades 9-12, along with their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend.

Students and their parents are to report to the high school auditorium at 9 a.m. for a short presentation. Students will receive their schedules, lockers, student handbooks and will have the opportunity to tour the school to meet teachers, counselors, and principals.

Ninth grades students who are attending the Wilkes-Barre Area Career and Technical Center in the Career Exploration should attend the freshman orientation as well. Students enrolled in the Headstart Program at the WBACTC do not have to attend.
