AVOCA — The V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 8335 will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3 in the post home at 915 Main St. District President Many Ann Pauline will attend this meeting for the annual inspection.
Plans will be finalized for the upcoming bingo at the Wilkes-Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12. Donations, prizes, and gifts for the bingo can be dropped off at the post home until 5 p.m. on that day. The members will leave post at 5 p.m. and transportation will be provided for anyone needing a ride.
Hostesses for the meeting will be Joan Emlaw and June Fitzgerald.
