Greater Pittston YMCA annual dinner ceremony is Nov. 2 at Mohegan Sun Casino in Plains Township

PLAINS TWP. — The Greater Pittston YMCA will hold its annual dinner at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6 at the Keystone Grand Ballroom of Mohegan Sun Casino and will present community awards.

The Master of Ceremonies for the event will be Greater Pittston Friendly Sons of St. Patrick member Shawn Casey.

This year’s winners are: Ed Ackerman, Lifetime Achievement Award; Patrick Hadley and Santino Ferreti of Main Street Realty, Corporate Distinction Award; Barbara A. Sciandra and Qiana Lehman of Paint Pittston Pink, YMCA Spirit of Community Award; Ronald Faust, Sam Milazzo Volunteer of the Year; Madeline Dworak, James & Jean Yates Youth Leadership Award.

This year’s recipients were all selected for their leadership and service to the community through volunteer activities that bring about positive social change throughout all of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Sponsorships are being accepted for the program booklet and overall sponsorship of the dinner include Platinum Sponsor, $5,000; Gold Sponsor, $2,500; Silver Sponsor, $1,500; Bronze Sponsor, $1,000; 1/4 page ad, $200; 1/2 page ad, $400; and full page ad, $750.

Tickets to the dinner are $75 per person.
