Wyoming Area Catholic School students collecting items for veterans

EXETER — Wyoming Area Catholic School Student Council is holding a collection for the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center. Each class is to bring in designated items to contribute to this service project.

Pre- K: word finds and large print books

Kindergarten: Body wash (no bar soap)

First Grade: sketch books and notebooks

Second and third grades: Shampoo and conditioner (no hotel samples)

Fourth and fifth grades: Toothpaste, toothbrushes, and denture cleaner/cream

Sixth grade: Deodorant and shaving cream

Seventh grade: Boxed greeting cards and a book or roll of stamps

Eighth grade: Large print books and large print playing cards.

Items are due Friday, Nov. 4.
