JENKINS TWP. — The 2017 County and Jenkins Township tax bills have been mailed as of Feb. 8 to property owners on record. Office hours during the discount period will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Fridays from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Jenkins Township Municipal Building at 46 1/2 N. Main St., Pittston. For those unable to attend during these hours, appointments can be arranged by calling the tax collector at 570-654-9710.
After April 7, office hours are 10 a.m. to noon Tuesdays from.
Payments sent via mail to the municipal building will be accepted as paid on postmarked date. If a receipt is required, also send a self-addressed stamped envelope.
New property owners who haven’t received a bill or those who have been billed in error can contact the tax collector at the number provided above.
