Duryea’s Ryan Flanagan scored two goals March 25 when the Binghamton Junior Senators won the North American 3 Hockey League Northeast Division playoff championship with a 5-2 victory over the Jersey Shore Wildcats.

The win completed a 2-0 sweep in the best-of-three division finals and allowed the Senators to follow up a regular-season championship with the playoff title.

Binghamton advanced to the NA3HL’s Silver Cup, an eight-team tournament consisting of division champions from around the country, that was being played Wednesday through Sunday in Illinois.

Flanagan is tied for second in the NA3HL in playoff goals with six in four games.
