EXETER — Wyoming Area High School graduating seniors joining the military qualify for financial awards from local American Legion posts.
There are monetary awards offered by Exeter, West Pittston and West Wyoming American Legions. The only prerequisite to qualify is that the student presents official commitment papers to guidance secretary Mrs. Rabel as soon as possible.
The awards will be presented at a celebration held May 25. Students should submit papers as soon as possible for inclusion in the event program. Late submissions will still be qualified for the award.
