Overnight rain is ending as Sunday begins.

The National Weather Service reported it was 53 degrees at 7:46 a.m. at the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre International Airport.

Area residents can anticipate a high of about 57 today with partly sunny skies and an overnight low of about 30.

Monday’s predicted high is 52 with mostly sunny skies, with an overnight low Monday night of 33.

Tuesday’s high is predicted at 54, with mostly sunny skies.

Tuesday night will bring the forecast’s first chance of rain, with a predicted low of 44.
