Commuters can expect a rough patch on Interstate 81 northbound on their drives into work this morning.
Major congestion is being reported on the interstate near the Greater Pittston area between Laflin and the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre International Airport causing heavy traffic and delays.
The South Cross Valley Expressway and areas of Interstate 476 are also experiencing areas of moderate congestion.
Highway 309 from the Back Mountain area is congestion free.
Scattered areas of minor congestion are being reported in Wilkes-Barre on Coal Street, Wilkes-Barre Boulevard, River Street, North and South Main Street.
There are also patches of minor congestion on Wyoming Avenue between Forty Fort and Plymouth.
