Wind and rain will greet residents today with a high of about 60 degrees.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 51 degrees as of 7 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with overcast skies kicking off the day.

Continued rain is expected through the nights with a low of 56.

Thursday brings somewhat of a reprieve with a cloudy start and a bit of sun predicted later in the day with a high of 59.

Thursday night is anticipated to be mostly clear with a low of 38.

Friday will be partly cloud with a high of 50, and a low of 30.
