The National Weather Service indicated it was 61 degrees at 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with a few clouds in the sky.

Tonight will be mostly clear with a low around 40.

Friday morning will start cloudy then clear by the afternoon with a high of 52. Cooler temperatures move into the area on Friday night with mostly clear skies. The low will be near 33.

The weekend starts with mostly sunny skies and a high near 54 on Saturday. Saturday night will feature scatter showers after 2 a.m., with a chance of precipitation at 30 percent.
