Don’t let Friday’s mild morning temperature fool you. This morning temperatures at 48 feel chilly thanks to 10 to 15 mile-an-hour West wind. Winds are expected to gust between 25 to 35 miles-per-hour this afternoon as highs reach 52 degrees.

The Wyoming Valley residents may see their first glimpse of snow for the season this afternoon.

Friday night temperatures will dip to 30 degrees.

Strong winds will continue Saturday with gusts of 25 miles-per-hour anticipated. Saturday’s high will reach 45 degrees under partly sunny skies. Nighttime lows will be close to 30 degrees.

Sunday promises to be less windy with temperatures reaching 52 degrees. Sunday night temperatures will drop to 34 degrees.
