Travelers in the Wyoming Valley can expect a mostly congestion-free morning during a commute to work or school.

Interstate 81 and Interstate 476 are congestion free and Highway 309 from the Back Mountain to Kingston shouldn’t be an issue this morning.

The off-ramp on Interstate 81 North at the Pittston/Dupont exit is backed up at the intersection of Route 315 and Oak Street. Route 315 near Laflin Road and near Laird Street is showing moderate congestion.

The South Cross Valley Expressway is moving freely this morning with the exception of the off-ramp at Exit 3. The North Cross Valley Expressway is congestion-free this morning.

In Downtown Wilkes-Barre, there are several areas of moderate and heavy congestion. Commuters can expect delays on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard, East Market Street and North River Street.

Wyoming Avenue is mostly congestion-free this morning. There are areas of moderate congestion on Route 11/East Main Street in Plymouth.
