Commuters could encounter some areas of congestion on the way into work and school to kick off the new week.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Scattered areas of minor traffic are reported on Route 315, as well as on Route 115 in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of traffic congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.

Downtown, some scattered areas of heavy congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre / South Wilkes-Barre boulevards. Heavy congestion could also be encountered in scattered areas of Hazle Street and into Academy Street.

Otherwise, scattered minor congestion could be encountered on North and South Main streets. Some heavy congestion is also reported on North River Street in the area of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

In Kingston, scattered areas of minor congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue throughout the borough.
