Commuters should have smooth ride into work and school

Aside from some scattered areas of traffic congestion, commuters should have an easy ride into work and school this morning.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Scattered areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Route 315, while Route 115 is free of congestion.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of traffic congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.

Downtown, scattered areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard extending to South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard.

Minor congestion is also reported on Hazle Street, but otherwise, the area is generally free of traffic congestion aside from some possible congestion at intersections.

In Kingston, scattered areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue throughout the borough.
