The rest of the week should be quiet for the Wyoming Valley, but a little more snow could fall.
The National Weather Service indicated that it was 15 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fair skies reported.
Partly sunny skies are expected today, along with a slight chance of snow showers before 1 p.m. Today’s high will be near 23.
Mostly cloudy skies will follow into tonight, with a slight chance of light snow possible into the early-morning hours of Thursday. Less than a half an inch of snow is expected, and tonight’s low will be around 16.
Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Thursday, with a high near 32. Those mostly cloudy skies are expected to carry over into Thursday night, with a low around 24.
Partly sunny skies will round out the week on Friday, with a high near 43.
Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Friday night, along with a 50 percent chance of rain and snow. The low will be around 34.
