The Wyoming Valley could see some rain and more snow into the weekend.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 26 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with overcast skies reported.

Partly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 46.

Cloudy skies are expected into tonight, along with rain likely after 1 a.m. Up to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible, and the low will be around 38.

Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Saturday, along with a 30 percent chance of rain showers. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is possible, and the high will be near 40.

Mostly cloudy skies will carry over into Saturday night, with a low around 27.

Mostly cloudy skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, along with a 20 percent chance of snow showers. The high will be near 31.

Cloudy skies will carry over into Sunday night, along with a 30 percent chance of snow showers. The low will be around 18.
