Sunshine is expected in the Wyoming Valley as the week comes to a close, along with a slight chance for some snow.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 35 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with overcast skies reported.

Partly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 36. Partly cloudy skies are predicted to carry over into tonight, with a low around 19.

Mostly sunny skies are predicted for Thursday, with a high near 34. Mostly cloudy skies are expected on Thursday night, along with a 20 percent chance of snow showers. The low will be around 25.

Mostly cloudy skies will round out the week on Friday, along with a 20 percent chance of snow showers. The high will be near 35. Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Friday night, with a low around 20.
