Scattered areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion could add a couple of minutes onto the morning commute.
Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Some minor and heavy traffic congestion is reported on Route 315, while minor traffic congestion is reported on Route 115 in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.
The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.
Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Kidder, Mundy and Spring streets.
Downtown, several streets in the area are reporting areas of minor and heavy congestion throughout the roadway. Affected streets include:
• Wilkes-Barre / South Wilkes-Barre boulevards
• North / South Pennsylvania avenues
• North / South Main streets
• North / South Franklin streets
• North / South River streets
• Market Street Bridge
In Kingston, areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue throughout the borough.
