    WEST PITTSTON — The West Pittston Cherry Blossom Committee is selling banners to help with committee funding. The banners are $150 for the first year, due before April 1. Renewals are $50, also due on April 1. Checks are to be made payable to The West Pittston Cherry Blossom and sent to Toni Valenti at 316 Damon St., West Pittston, PA 18643. She can be reached at 570-655-0416.

    Donations are also being accepted for Cherry Picks. Call Ralph Salerno at 570-780-0231 for more information.

    The next meeting of the West Pittston Cherry Blossom Committee will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 3 at the Corpus Christi School building behind Corpus Christi Parish in West Pittston. All new members are welcome. Upcoming events and the festival will be discussed. The festival is held on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1.
