Aside from some scattered areas of minor traffic congestion, commuters in the Wyoming Valley should have little trouble getting to work and school this morning.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Route 315 is reporting scattered areas of minor traffic, while Route 115 is reporting heavy congestion in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.

Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, areas of minor congestion are reported on Kidder and Mundy streets.

Downtown, scattered areas of heavy congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Otherwise, minor congestion is reported on Hazle, South Main, South Franklin and North River streets.

In Kingston, scattered areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue.
