Stuccio earns Dean’s Award

HAMILTON, N.Y. — Sarah Stuccio, Pittston, a biochemistry major in the Colgate University Class of 2016, has earned the Dean’s Award for academic excellence for the fall 2015 semester.

Stuccio is a graduate of Scranton Preparatory School. The Dean’s Award for academic excellence is awarded to students with a 3.30 or higher term average.

A girl was born to Brieanne Langhorne and Joe Rivera of Duryea on Feb. 23.

A boy was born to Natalie and Nicolas Allison of Wyoming on Feb. 25.

A girl was born to Erin and Larry Banta of Exeter on Feb. 28.

A girl was born to Rosemary Torres and Cristian Cruz of West Pittston on March 3.

A girl was born to Cassandra Bartosavage and Amil Bertocki of Duryea on March 4.

Linnae Aufiere of New York, formerly of West Pittston, will celebrate her 25th birthday on March 15. Her mother, Patti Miele Aufiere, of West Pittston, will celebrate her birthday on March 25.
