Commuters could encounter some areas of minor traffic congestion, along with isolated areas of heavy congestion, on the way into work and school.
Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstate 81, while scattered areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Interstate 476. Scattered areas of minor traffic congestion are reported on Route 315, while heavy congestion is reported on Route 115 in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.
The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of traffic congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps.
Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, scattered areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion are reported on Kidder and Mundy streets. Areas of heavy traffic are also reported on Wilkes-Barre Township Boulevard.
Downtown, scattered areas of minor traffic and isolated areas of heavy congestion are reported throughout the area. Affected Streets include:
• Wilkes-Barre / South Wilkes-Barre boulevards
• Hazle Street
• East Market Street
• North / South Main streets
• North / South River streets
In Kingston, scattered areas of minor and heavy traffic congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue throughout the borough.
