WILKES-BARRE — Greater Pittston residents Nicholas Bennie, Aidan Joyce, Connor Mitchell, Dylan Pegg and Ryan Tracy are among 13 King’s College students who have been accepted to attend the University of Notre Dame as a part of King’s cooperative 3+2 dual degree engineering program.

All will complete their third year at King’s in May and will continue at Notre Dame for two years.

A resident of Pittston Township, Nicholas Bennie, will earn a bachelor’s degree in physics from King’s and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Notre Dame at the completion of his studies. He is a dean’s list student, a member of the honors program, the Comic Book Club, and Quidditch Captain of Ravenclaw House. He is the son of Jim and Maryanne Bennie.

Aidan Joyce, Pittston, will earn a bachelor’s degree in physics from King’s and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Notre Dame at the completion of his studies. He is the son of Joseph Jr. and Ann Marie Joyce.

Connor Mitchell, Hughestown, will earn a bachelor’s degree in physics from King’s and a bachelor’s degree in civil egineering from Notre Dame at the completion of his studies. He is the son of Robert and Karen Mitchell.

Dylan Pegg, West Wyoming, will earn a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from King’s and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Notre Dame at the completion of his studies. He is a dean’s list student, a member of the Gamma Xi chapter of Sigma Zeta Science National Honor Society, and the Chemistry Club. He is the son of John and Donna Pegg.

Ryan Tracy, Pittston, will earn a bachelor’s degree in physics from King’s and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Notre Dame at the completion of his studies. He is a dean’s list student, a peer tutor, and a member of the golf team. He is the son of Christopher and Michelle Tracy.
