It’s shaping up to be a rainy weekend in the Wyoming Valley.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 46 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with fog and mist reported.

Cloudy skies are expected today, along with scattered showers after 11 a.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, and the high will be near 53.

Showers are likely before 11 p.m. tonight, with up to a quarter of an inch of rainfall possible. Tonight’s low will be around 44.

Partly sunny skies are predicted for Saturday, with a high near 62.

Cloudy skies are expected for Saturday night, along with showers likely after midnight. Up to a quarter of an inch of rain could fall, and the low will be around 45.

Sunday will also bring a high likelihood of showers, but no rainfall amounts have been predicted. The high will be around 56.

Showers will once again be likely into Sunday night, with a low around 48.
