Commuters could encounter some isolated areas of traffic congestion on the ride into work this morning.
Interstates 81 and 476 are each reporting isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion. Minor congestion is reported on Route 315 in the area of Laird Street, but Route 115 is free of congestion.
The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps. Widespread minor congestion is reported in the southbound lanes of the South Cross Valley Expressway.
Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, Kidder and Spring streets are each reporting scattered areas of minor and heavy congestion.
Downtown, isolated areas of traffic congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Scattered areas of congestion are also reported on North Main, South Main, North River, South River and East North streets.
In Kingston, Market Street and Wyoming Avenue are each reporting isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion.
