Scattered areas of traffic congestion are reported throughout the Wyoming Valley this morning.

Heavy congestion is reported in the northbound lanes of Interstate 81 near Dupont, while isolated areas of minor congestion are reported on Interstate 476.

Isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Route 315, but Route 115 is free of traffic congestion.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps. The South Cross Valley Expressway is also free of congestion.

Near the Wyoming Valley Mall, scattered areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Highland Park Boulevard and Wilkes-Barre Township Boulevard.

Downtown, Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard are each reporting isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion at intersections along the roadways. Scattered areas of minor congestion are also reported on Hazle, East Northampton, East Market and South River streets.

In Kingston, isolated areas of heavy congestion are reported on Market Street and Wyoming Avenue.
