Bailey Janowski ended her high school athletic career with a seventh-inning, pinch-hitting appearance in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class AA softball championship game June 16.

The outfielder/second baseman from Pittston was one of just two seniors on the roster of the Holy Redeemer team that repeated its state championship with a 9-3 victory over Moniteau at Penn State.

Janowski struck out in the state final, but finished her career with a .258 batting average in 23 games played over three seasons.

A member of two straight state championship teams, Janowski did not commit an error while handling 18 defensive chances in her career. She was 8-for-31 at the plate with a triple, eight RBI and seven runs scored.
