Area residents can enjoy sunshine this weekend in the Wyoming Valley.
The National Weather Service indicated it was 60 degrees as of 7 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fair skies were reported.
Some clouds are possible throughout the day, with an expected high of about 80.
Tonight’s low will provide great sleeping weather, with a low of about 60.
Sunday will be filled with sunshine, with a high temperature of about 82, with an overnight low about 62.
Sunny skies will prevail on Independence Day with a high near 83, with a possibility of some scattered showers.
Monday night will again provide good sleeping weather with a low of about 64.
