Rain and possible thunderstorms are in the forecast again today for the Wyoming Valley, but showers are expected to move out of the region later today followed by sunny and warm conditions Sunday and Monday.
The National Weather Service indicated it was overcast and 75 degrees as of 7:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport.
A chance of showers today, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 85.
Tonight it is expected to be mostly clear with a low around 61.
The sun breaks through on Sunday with sunny skies expected and a high near 84. Mostly clear on Sunday night, with a low around 58.
Sunny and warm conditions continue on Monday with a high near 85. Monday night, will again be mostly clear with a low around 59.
