WILKES-BARRE — A Wilkes-Barre man was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment on Saturday after an alleged domestic dispute on South Hancock Street.
Police said a female compaintaint, 46, reported to police at about noon that Thair A. Avent, 20, had struck her about her head with a closed fist causing injuries for which she was transported to a local medical facility for medical evaluation and/or treatment.
Charges were filed at district court.
