WEST PITTSTON — A water main line broke on Monday at the intersection of Luzerne Avenue and Linden Street, causing some residents to have low water pressure and dirty water.

The roadway was closed while the problem was being repaired.

In a statement, borough officials recommended boiling drinking water as a precautionary measure

Police asked residents to avoid travelling in that area, because they anticipate road closure and active construction.
