It’s shaping up to be a wet weekend in the Wyoming Valley, as rain is expected all the way through Sunday.
The National Weather Service indicated it was 50 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and rain was reported.
Showers are expected today, and up to half an inch of rain is expected. The high will be near 57.
Cloudy skies will follow into tonight, along with a 40 percent chance of showers before 2 a.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of total rainfall is expected, and the low will be around 55.
Cloudy skies are predicted for Saturday, along with a 50 percent chance of showers. Less than a tenth of an inch of total rainfall is expected, and the high will be near 66.
Showers will be likely before 3 a.m. into Saturday night, and up to a quarter of an inch of total rainfall is possible. The low will be around 57.
Mostly cloudy skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, along with a 40 percent chance of showers. The high will be near 71.
