Sunny skies and fall-like conditions — with cool days and cold nights — are in store for the Wyoming Valley.
The National Weather Service indicated it was 52 degrees as of 8:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fair conditions were reported.
Today’s forecast calls partly sunny skies, with a high near 61. North wind 9 to 15 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear and cold, with a low around 39. Wind 7 to 11 mph.
Monday, Columbus Day, is expected to be sunny, with a high near 58. North wind 7 to 9 mph.
Monday night will again be mostly clear and cold, with a low around 36. North wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Tuesday is expected to be sunny with a high around 62.
Tuesday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 43.
