George Kearney, of James street, Pittston, who lost his sight while serving in combat with the U.S. Army in the European Theatre of Operations during World War II, returned home last Tuesday from the Seeing Eye Hospital at Morristown, N.J.

Mr. Kearney had spent several days at that institution where he will, in a few months, obtain one of the famous seeing eye dogs. He expects to return to New Jersey within the next two months to b gin the course of preparations for ownership of one of the dogs.
