On behalf of the Jenkins Township supervisors, I would like to thank everyone for their cooperation and assistance during the recent Stella snow storm.
The extra efforts put forth by our police and fire departments were truly appreciated as are our emergency services members, who were never compromised.
The Jenkins Township Department of Public Works performed beyond expectations. They worked extra hours to ensure street safety and safety to our residents. Our road foremen, Joe Lewis, Brian Orth and Ryan Youngblood deserve all the “thank yous” we could possibly give. We handled many calls and would like to thank our administrative staff for trying to accommodate our residents’ needs.
We would also like to commend our contractors, Latona Trucking and Patrick Pahoda, for plowing and did a great job. A special thank you to Robert Mericle for volunteering his numerous resources to assist the town in the enormous task of snow removal.
Again, Mericle Corp. came through when the town was in need just as he did during the past with flood issues we had.
We also wish to thank the residents for their patience while the town continues to clean up.
