Dear Editor:

JetSurge Power Cleaning and Windows won the Yatesville Bocce League Championship.

The league finals turned out to be a family affair, pitting Guy DePascale Sr. against his son, Guy Jr.

In the best of five format, Guy DePascale Jr., Jon Campanella, Mike Dudziec and Danny Williams of JetSurge Power Cleaning defeated Guy DePascale Sr., Paul Minichelli, Tony Reino and Lee Rodegherio of Colarusso’s Restaurant, three games to one. All four games were close, with JetSurge prevailing 16-14, 13-16, 16-12 and 16- 11.

In what was a very successful season, the league would like the team sponsors: Old Forge Chiropractic, Bassler Equipment, Roberts’ Repairs, Blandina Apartments, The Dyller Law Firm, Atlas Realty, Lombardo’s Market, Colarusso’s Restaurant and JetSurge Power Cleaning and Windows.

A special thanks to borough of Yatesville.

Kudos are also due to the league officers: Guy DePascale Jr., president; Phil Bosha, vice president; Dino Rodegherio, secretary; and Doc Campanella, treasurer. Guy Depascale Sr. and Bosha served as league statistician and league publicist, respectively.

And without the four co-chairmen of Joe Zambetti Sr., Guy DePascale Sr., Bosha and Guy DePascale Jr., the league tournament would not have been the success that it was.
