For Pittston Area and Wyoming Area, the week of tennis was a difficult one. Both the Patriots and Warriors each failed to win a match, playing two matches each.

Most recently, on Friday, the Warriors were swept by Coughlin, 5-0. The Patriots, plying a home match with Dallas, were also swept, 5-0. Playing top singles spots for Wyoming Area during the week were Austin Alder, Joe Skrip and Aaron Lewis. The Patriots were led by Jason Homschek, Johnathon Durling and Nick Alfano.

On Thursday, Pittston Area traveld to Holy Redeemer and fell to the Royals, 5-0. Wyoming Area traveled to Wyoming Valley West on Tuesday and came out with a 5-0 loss.

This coming week, the two teams will be facing each other looking for their first wins of the season. The Patriots will be hosting the Warriors at 4:15 p.m. on Monday, April 18 at the courts in Hughestown.
