YATESVILLE — Pittston Area senior Nicholas Petrucci, a swimmer on the Patriots’ swim team, will continue his academic and athletic career at King’s College, he announced Wednesday.

During last season’s PIAA District 2 Swimming and Diving Championships, Petrucci earned a bronze in the 50 free with a time of 22.80. He also turned in a fifth-place finish in the 100 freestyle. He will study engineering at King’s College.

The Pittston Area senior said he chose King’s College because the engineering program.
