Colarusso’s wins first half title in Yatesville Bocce League, tournament is Sept. 25

YATESVILLE — Colarusso’s Restaurant nips Lombardo’s Market to win the first half title and a spot in the Yatesville Bocce League finals.

In a best of three format, Colarusso’s won the first game, 12-11. Lombardo’s came back to take the second game, 12-8, setting up the vital game 3. Colarusso’s prevailed 12-10. They will now wait for the second half playoffs to conclude.

The match-ups for the second half playoffs will have Colarusso’s taking on Old Forge Chirpractic, JetSurge Power Cleaning opposing the Dyller Law Firm and Lombardo’s challenging Atlas Realty.

The annual clambake for the league will take place starting at 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 11.

Plans are being finalized for the league’s tournament that will be held beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25. Any teams still interested are asked to contact any league member.
