PA Baseball Booster club sponsoring event March 31
PITTSTON — The Pittston Area Baseball Booster Club and Miles for Michael will hold a night of food, drinks and basket raffles from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Red Mill, 340 S. Main St.
The cost to attend is $10 which includes 10 raffle tickets and access to a buffet. The night will also feature a basket raffle, 50/50 and celebrity bartenders that will be announced at a later date.
All proceeds benefit the booster club and Miles for Michael fund.
Baseball and softball registrations ongoing
WYOMING — The Wyoming/West Wyoming Little League is holding registrations for its GWA Junior/Senior Baseball and Junior Softball teams throughout the month of March.

Valley Laxerz seeking players
WEST WYOMING — The Valley Laxerz is looking for additional players to fill out its grade 5-6 and grade 7-8 girls teams for the upcoming 2017 season.
The teams practice in March and the season runs from April until the end of May. Players participate in a recreational league consisting of teams from the Back Mountain, Mountain Top, Scranton and Kingston, playing 10 games in addition to two local tournaments.

WA Lacrosse sponsoring bus trip
EXETER — The Wyoming Area lacrosse organizations will sponsor a bus trip to see the Ohio State Buckeyes take on Penn State in women’s lacrosse on Saturday, April 1 at Penn State University.
This will be a family trip open to men, women and children.
The bus will leave from a place to be determined at 7:30 a.m., allowing for tailgating and viewing of the campus for those interested. The game starts at 1:30 p.m.
Bus will leave 30 minutes after the game ends to return.
Price of the trip is $40 per person and money is due at the time of the reservation. Seats will be held on a first-come/first-served basis.
This trip will be used as a fundraiser to benefit the Wyoming Area Lacrosse organizations.
