ARCHBALD – Old Forge’s Ben Grochowski and Kierstyn Breig were selected to play in Lackawanna League Senior Basketball All-Star Games.
Grochowski had two points, four rebounds, an assist, a steal and a blocked shot Tuesday night while playing for the Red team in a 106-102 loss to the Blue in the boys game at Valley View High School. The Red team was made up of players from Divisions 2 and 3.
Breig played for Maroon in Monday’s 98-95 overtime loss to the Orange at Forest City High School. She had a three-point play during a comeback from a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter and also grabbed three rebounds.
